Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

The only thing that's too late is yesterday. Everything else is possible. --Treka L. House

Hey TLH Readers,

I just wanted to do a quick post to wish each and every one of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! This has been a beautiful year, both positive and negative for us all, even for all of the unbothered people. It’s that way every year though, so what’s new. It’s wonderful to look at all of the positive that we have going on, but it would be unrealistic to say that we completely ignored all of the negative. Let’s be honest; together the positive and the negative give us balance. There is a lesson in both; however, it’s the positive that continues to breath life into who we wish to be. As we prepare to enter a New Year, I think it is wise to self-examine who we’ve been and decide which parts we wish to take with us and which parts we wish to leave behind. Just as some people from the previous year won't enter into the New Year with us, we shouldn’t take the hindering parts of ourselves either. It just isn't beneficial. Each day should be a day that we vow to be better, so that the New Year should be no different. Dissect who you are and be honest with yourself about yourself. Every piece of you, isn’t the best part of yourself and those parts need upgrading. Look at who you are and compare it against who you desire to be. Always remember that you will never be perfect, though I’ve been told that you should strive for perfection. What I’ve decided to take into 2016 with me is me. I’m realizing every year that I’m super special as I am and not as someone prefers me to be. I honor the fact that I’m completely imperfect; yet that makes me perfect for who I was created to be and for my divine purpose.

I beg you not to go into the New Year trying to be someone else, being jealous of someone else, trying to outshine them, focusing on taking shots at someone else or inflicting your insecure, negative energy on someone else. We know not the day or hour that we will take our last breath, so let’s use that time being admirable.. Life is definitely short, but we can make it count. As we end this year, let’s do it giving and receiving lessons that are conducive to who we desire to be. If I had the power to, I would speak life into your life. I pray that each of you walk into who God shaped you to be. It doesn’t matter what your clothes look like, how much money you have, how many degrees you possess or what your house looks like. Honey, God will use the homeless. There is no superficiality in your purpose. I love you to life, now go live your life! It is never too late to be great. It doesn’t matter how long it takes you to conquer your dream, as long as you conquer them.

See you in 2016 my beautiful love bugs!!!
